How Water Tank Cleaning Works, Step by Step
Knowing what a proper clean involves helps you judge a quote. Here is the process from start to finish.
Before we arrive
We confirm the tank size, access and time, and agree a price. You tell us when the water can be off.
On the day
- Inspect the tank and isolate the supply.
- Drain the water.
- Remove sludge and sediment.
- Scrub walls, floor and lid.
- Disinfect and hold for the contact time.
- Rinse and flush, then refill.
- Take a water sample for the lab.
After the clean
You receive a signed certificate, and the lab report when it is ready. Keep both. The next clean is due in about six months.
